Preparations For Yard Sale

Coker, Alabama

Weather: low 65 degrees, high 93 degrees, mostly clear skies

After taking my morning walk, I got an early start on moving Terri's stuff for the weekend yard sale from the house over to the RV. We are very fortunate to have good landlords who allow us to do things like this at the RV park. Thanks, Ruth and Marsha.

By 0830 hours, I had the first load of stuff back to the RV, and two more by 1300 hours. In between the second and third load, we went to Sam's Club to pick up a few things we use on a daily basis. While there, we had a quick lunch, then went out to the house to pick up the third load. Late in the afternoon, we went back and picked up the last load, for a total of four loads.

We will be up early in the morning to get everything set up, and then stand back for the rush. We have already priced most of it, so it should not be too big a deal to put it out so people can see it. The plan is to run the sale on Friday and Saturday, and take whatever is left to the Salvation Army on Monday. It would be nice if it took one load or less to move everything out.

That's about all that's going on here today.

More later, be safe.

On the way to sam's you need to pick up some wine. even if you don't drink it will make the sale a lot smother.

That's a good idea. And that one in the burlap bag has got to be good.
