Yucky Weather

Coker, Alabama

Weather: low 45 degrees, high 51 degrees, cloudy, misting, sprinkles, fog

Rain started late yesterday evening and continued all night. When we got up this morning, the rain had eased off to an occasional sprinkle. About noon, fog moved in and the sprinkles continued the rest of the day. Fortunately, even with the weather so nasty, I was able to take my morning walk without getting wet.

When we saw what the weather was going to be like, we decided to go into town and do some light Christmas shopping. The shopping consisted mainly of looking for some decorations that we could use in the future and that wouldn't take up too much room. I think we succeeded. In addition, we did some window shopping, thinking about what we might need in the future for projects and other needs.

We had lunch in town and returned home about 1330 hours. We took some well earned meditation, and then I started reinstalling some of our programs on the old computer. I'm being careful to install just the programs we use on a routine basis. This is in an attempt to keep the system lean and fast.

Carolyn has been busy getting her Christmas cards ready to be mailed tomorrow. I'm running a little behind, but expect to be finished before the evening is over. We're getting ready to watch NCIS on television, so I'll close for now.

More later, be safe.
